Danielle Baptiste

Danielle Baptiste is the daughter of Police Captain Peyroux (commanding officer of Detectives Patrick Gleason and Sara Pezzini) and Officer Gus Baptiste (a police officer in New Orleans, where Danielle grew up). Since she saw her first ballet at 9-years old, she has wanted to become a dancer, so she moves to NYC and pursues her dreams. Danielle first meets Sara Pezzini when they run into each other in the NYPD station, and again at the Curator's antique shop in Manhattan. When Sara learns she is pregnant, and the Witchblade chooses Dani as a successor, she passes the Witchblade to Danielle.
