Black Tom is a male mutant human, middle-aged, tall and athletic, with black hair, a black mustache, and a black goatee. He can manipulate, bond with, and project energy through plant life. He is also capable of issuing concussive blasts with a wooden object, usually a shillelagh. Black Tom was a longtime criminal partner of the super-strong villain Juggernaut, until Juggernaut's reformation.
