Supergirl

Linda Danvers was an ordinary girl living in Leesburg. She fell in with a bad crowd, led by Buzz, who lured her into his demonic cult. Little did Linda know, but Buzz intended to use her as a sacrifice for the cult. After kidnapping her, Buzz cut Linda with a dagger in order to use her blood to summon a demon. However, Matrix (Supergirl) intervened, stopping the ritual, but not before Linda was mortally wounded. Using her shapeshifting powers to try and save Linda, Matrix instead merged with her. Matrix and Linda formed a new Supergirl, with Matrix as the dominant personality. Supergirl later manifested new angelic powers. A young boy named Wally would explain to Supergirl that she was the Earth-Born Angel of Fire, one of three Earth angels. Matrix and Linda were later separated, but Linda retained a portion of Supergirl's powers. Matrix would then merge with a superhuman named Twilight.
