Dad is Billy's (The Will) and Sophie's (The Brand) physically and emotionally abusive father who is murdered by The Letter (their Uncle Steve) when he hits Sophie in front of him. The kids are then taken in by The Letter. This is presumably how they both were brought into the freelancer life.
