Roxanne Laroque was a Witchblade Bearer living in 17th century France. Disguised as a man, she became a feared musketeer. During an attempt on the life of King Louis XIV, when Roxanne came to defend the King, her hat fell off, revealing her gender. Because of this, she left the musketeers, but she stayed in France and fought criminals as a vigilante.
