Detective John Chimu works at the NYPD in the year 2100. He calls Witchblade Bearer, Selena Lauren, in as an expert consultant on a rare double murder in a time when crime is nearly non-existant. As a result of her working on this case and after John Chimu's death on their case, Selena ends up becoming a detective once more.
