Elizabeth Brontë was the second child in the Brontë family, sister to Maria, Charlotte, Patrick, Emily, and Anne. She attended Cowan Bridge School with her sister Maria and suffered the same fate as her, dying in 1825 of tuberculosis at the age of 10, two weeks before she would be reunited with her father.
