Monsignor is the leader of the fascistic tech-centered religious order (referred to as "The Order") which rules what remains of human society in Gigā (Vault, 2020 series). When Evan Calhoun, Mason, and Aiko are children, they are students of the Order under the Monsignor, who teaches them about the history of the Gigā and how the lives of humans and Gigā became intertwined.
