In the Zenescope Entertainment comics universe, the character of Red Riding Hood is implied to be a woman named Britney Waters. In her introduction, Britney seems a normal girl with little connection to the fairy tale character, but throughout the series Britney's story and Red Riding Hood's story become more similar. Through her career as a psychiatrist, Britney becomes better able to face the demons of her past and in a similar way she trains to fight the supernatural threats she encounters, becoming better able to combat her foes.
