Lightning Lass

Ayla Ranzz is the twin sister of Lightning Lad, Garth Ranzz, and younger sister of Lightning Lord, Mekt Ranzz. The three Ranzz siblings were going home from Winath, their home planet, when they were trapped on the lightning world, Korbal, and attacked by lightning beasts. They managed to survive the attack and all three gained significant lightning powers. When Ayla first joined the Legion of Super-Heroes she was disguised as her brother, but she was soon found out and admitted as Lightning Lass, the fifth female member of the Legion. As Lightning Lass she has powers of electricity generation and as Light Lass she has powers of gravity nullification. Her abilities have alternated between the two during her tenure with the Legion.
