Mary, Queen of Blood is a vampire. While she was the handmaiden to Queen Elizabeth, as Mary Seward, her lover Lord Andrew Bennett was bitten by a vampire and transformed into this creature. Mary then begged him to bite her in turn, so that they could spend eternity together. But as Andrew maintained his human conscience and mastered his blood lust, Mary plunged into this power and became a fearsome murderer. She became Mary, Queen of Blood and founded the international vampire cult called the Blood Red Moon.
