Katarina "Luka" Netz, and her sister Elisabeth, were creations of Otto Netz (Doctor Dedalus). She occasionally used the alias Kathy Kane, and in that role she became the original Batwoman. She later faked the death of her Kathy Kane persona. Luka was the head of the organization called Spyral, calling herself The Headmistress and Agent Zero. She was eventually killed by Otto Netz.
