The third Hourman is an android, actually an intelligent machine colony, created in the 853rd century by Tyler Chemorobotics. Rex Tyler, the first Hourman, aided in Matthew's creation and indeed was his genetic template. He is indistinguishable from a true human and has the complete range of human emotions and feelings as one might expect from science advanced 83,000 years from the present. Hourman was a member of both the Justice League and the Justice Society of America. Hourman has used the secret identities of Tyler, Matthew, and Matthew Tyler.
