Clem Carter was a thug living in the old west town of Tombstone, Texas. The brother of Nancy Carter, Clem was killed and his death wrongfully blamed on the Two-Gun Kid, causing her to hate him while at the same time continuing a relationship with Matt Hawk, the Kid's secret identity.
