Yrra Cynril is the secret identity of Fatality, a Xanshian fighter who was the first of her kind to be educated off-world. Thinking her planet was destroyed due to the error of a Green Lantern, once she finished her training, set out to kill all the Green Lanterns. She was inducted into the Sinestro Corps and given a Qwardian Power Ring. During the Sinestro Corps War, Yrra is taken by Zamarons and encased in a crystal so they can replace the anger in her heart with love. A successful process, Yrra emerges from the crystal as a Star Sapphire.
