Fatality is an alias of Yrra Cynril, a Xanshian who was the first of her kind educated off-world. Believing her world was destroyed due to the error of a Green Lantern, she finished her training and went out with the goal of destroying all Green Lanterns. Fatality has superhuman strength, speed, agility, stamina, and reflexes thanks to her Xanshian physiology, which may also be the source of her ability to detect weaknesses. She is trained in hand-to-hand combat and weaponry, and she also has skin which acts as armor against energy attacks. During the Sinestro Corps War, Yrra was taken by the Zamarons and put into a crystal with the hope to replace the anger in her heart with love. This process was successful and Fatality emerged from the crystal a Star Sapphire.
