Boss Moroni
Gotham City mob boss, 1942-1952

Boss Moroni was a mobster on trial for murder in Gotham City. The Districy Attorney, Harvey Kent, was the prosecutor at the trial. When D.A. Kent produced his evidence, Moroni's two-headed silver dollar found at the murder scene with Moroni's fingerprints on it, an enraged Moroni threw a vial of acid at Kent. The acid struck the left side of D.A. Kent's face, scarring him both physically and mentally. Harvey Kent descended into madness and became the criminal named Two-Face.
