Eightyfive was a member of the "pink" Kree subspecies, a group that was looked down upon by other members of their species. He was given a batch number instead of a proper name at birth, and by the time he reached adulthood, he had developed the ability to manipulate magnetic fields. Eightyfive broke ties with his people and turned to a life of crime as a mercenary and thief, working as part of Interface's group called Force.
