Kiwi Black was a Maori mutant member of Azazel's Neyaphem. While many of the Neyaphem are loyal to Azazel, Kiwi Black rejected his father's beliefs and became an ally of the X-Men, gaining the respect of his half-brother, Nightcrawler. Kiwi Black was de-powered during the events of M-Day.
