In the Saquin tongue, Turok means "Son of Stone". Joshua Fireseed was also known as The Coyote Knight. He took over as Turok in 1997 upon the death of his uncle Carl. Joshua was the son of John Fireseed, the younger brother of Vivian Fireseed-Jakashawah, and the older brother of Alison Fireseed.
