Krissy Longfellow was disguise taken by Whitney Frost (born Giuletta Nefaria) as a former executive secretary who was sent by Midas to infiltrate Stark Industries. During her time there, she fell in love with Anthony Stark and the two became very close, even sharing a penthouse apartment in Manhattan. However, when her father Count Nefaria fell gravely ill, Krissy returned to her criminal ways and helped capture Stark in an attempt to coerce him into curing her father's ionic induced, life-threatening aging. Stark managed to escape her plot and steadfastly refused to release her father from incarceration. Krissy responded by battling Iron Man with weapons from Stark International, and in the ensuing battle, Count Nefaria was believed killed. This proved to be the final straw for Krissy, as she left Stark and soon returned to her criminal mastermind ways.
