Lusiphur (then named Luis Amerillis Malaché) was found in the Carpathian Forest in 1380 by his adoptive parents. They raised the elf in their inn in Port Sarnwog. Lusiphur's childhood was rife with trauma including the arson of his parents' inn leaving them wanting for money, the death of his adoptive father, his mother becoming a prostitute to make ends meet, and finally an encounter with an abusive client leads to his mother's becoming bedridden. She could not die due to her Elvish immune system, so she begged Luse to do it for her. He complied and continues to be haunted by the memory for the rest of his life. With both of his adoptive parents dead, Lusiphur turns to crime and violence to survive on the streets.
