Warren continuity: Vampirella originally lived on the planet Drakulon, a world where her people resemble the vampires of Earth legend. Droughts dried up their blood supply, which flowed on their world like water, threatening their very existence. When a spacecraft from Earth crashed on Drakulon, Vampirella saw it as an opportunity to feed. She figured out how the ship worked and how to repair it, then used it to travel back to Earth. Harris continuity: Vampirella discovered that she was actually the daughter of Lilith, the first wife of Adam. Among Lilith's children were Madek and Magdalene, who turned to evil, followed by Vampirella, who was a force for good. Madek and Magdalene had brainwashed Vampirella into believing she was from the planet Drakulon. Dynamite continuities: A number of different versions of Vampirella appeared at this publisher. In one version, Vampirella's alien origin was restored, but Lilith was now also established as being from Drakulon.
