J. Quincy Magoo is an extremely nearsighted old man who refuses to admit and deal with his problem. He is self-confident, and somewhat grouchy and typically bumbles his way to success against common annoyances, con men, and animals by luck and cartoon physics. He is sometimes joined by his nephew Waldo.
