Captain Planet is a superhero formed by the combining of the planetary powers of five rings given to the Planeteers by Gaia. He possesses the amplified abilities of the five Planeteers as well as superhuman strength and speed. His abilities are weakened by environmentally detrimental factors, such as smog and pollution.
