Debbie Andrews (also called "Debbie Andrew" in some stories) is a single divorced mother to a young daughter, Melissa ("Missy"). Debbie worked at Titech Enterprises when she was injected with a matrix serum by the villain Nightslayer. As a result, she obtained super powers, although she was only able to use one power at a time. Donning a black costume, she became the superhero called Matrix.
