Missy Andrews is the young daughter of Debbie Andrews, a single mother who is secretly the superheroine Matrix. Although known as Missy, her birth name is actually Melissa. Missy's father is Edward Andrews. When Edward kidnapped Missy, he enrolled her in school under the name Amber Lane to conceal her identity. Missy learned that her mother was Matrix in Matrix (1990 series) #15 (August 2001).
