Stakar Ogord is the son of Wendell Vaughn (Quasar) and Kismet. Just after his birth in the early 21st century, the infant was kidnapped and brought to the planet Arcturus IV. He was found by Ogord, of the Reavers of Arcturus, who raised him with his wife Salaan alongside their natural daughter, Aleta. They named the boy Stakar. When they were older, Stakar and Aleta explored some ruins and found a large statue of the Hawk God. Aleta was accidentally converted to energy and absorbed into the Hawk God. Stakar rescued her by absorbing her energy into himself. The two then took turns existing in the physical world. During the periods when he was dominant, Stakar appeared as Starhawk. The two eventually developed romantic feelings for one another, and so Stakar and Aleta bid the Hawk God to temporarily separate them. During this period, the couple had triplets: John, Sita, and Tara. In the year 3014 AD, Starhawk aided the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Defenders in overthrowing the Badoon occupation of Earth.
