David Fortunov is a tall and muscular man, with brown hair in his youth, bleached when he appears of middle age, with blue eyes. He is an adventurer and a mercenary under the alias Dominic Fortune. Born in New York City, Duvid Jerome Fortunov grew up on that city's Lower East Side during the 1920s. Eventually retiring, Fortune returned to being Duvid Fortunov and established himself as a Pontiac salesman in Nassau County, New York where he married and had two children.
