Depictions, biographical or fictional, of Sheldon Mayer (1917 - 1991), an American comics writer, artist and editor. Today, he is best known for his work during the Golden Age of Comics, and later created the long-running humor strip Sugar and Spike. His achievements led to him being inducted into the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1992 and the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2000. He received an Inkpot Award in 1976 and the Bill Finger Award for Excellence in Comic Book Writing in 2025.
