Jerry Robinson (1922 - 2011) was an American comic book artist best known for his work on stories featuring Batman, including co-creation of Robin and the Joker. Robinson is also known for his work on behalf of creators' rights including his advocacy for Superman co-creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
