Joanne Siegel (1917 - 2011), born Jolan Kovacs, is the second wife of American comic book writer Jerry Siegel. She also worked as an artist's model, including working with young Jerry and his longtime friend Joe Shuster as inspiration for Lois Lane as Jerry and Joe developed the Superman feature in the mid-1930s.
