Cosmo est un chien anthropomorphe. Il était un animal d’essai pour le programme spatial soviétique. Il a été lancé en orbite terrestre dans le cadre d’une expérience, mais son vaisseau spatial a dérivé hors de l’orbite pendant les années 1960, l’envoyant finalement à Nulle Part [Knowhere]. He was launched into Earth's orbit as part of an experiment but his spacecraft drifted out of orbit during the 1960's, eventually sending him to Knowhere. At some point during his spatial drift, cosmic rays mutated him, giving him his psionic powers. Thereafter, he became the station's Chief of Security for Knowhere.]
