In the 30th century, a villain named Sun Emperor is a member of the adult version of the Legion of Super-Villains, a group that battled the teen-aged Legion of Super-Heroes on at least one occasion and threatened Superman and Jimmy Olsen in the 20th century. The adult Legion of Super-Villains stated that they were from the Legion's future, but it is believed that this claim is false.
