Norman Maurer

The American comic book artist and writer; also director and producer of films and television shows. Mauer is known for his business and creative involvement with both the early Three Stooges comic books and their later films. He has occasionally appeared as himself in comics within parody stories, photographs or as the subject of biographic text articles. Maurer's first appearances in comics as a character are with his classmate and future collaborator from Manhattan's High School of Music and Art, Joe Kubert.
