Bill Barnacle

Also known as

"Salty" Bill Barnacle is a character who first appeared in E. C. Segar's comic strip Thimble Theatre in 1933. He is a friend of Popeye's and a fellow tough sailor. Other than Popeye himself, Bill Barnacle is the only known member of the Sea Dog Club.
