Khn’nr is a Skrull sleeper agent engineered to impersonate Captain Marvel with the powers and memories of the Kree hero Mar-Vell, implanted so he would believe he was Mar-Vell as part of the Skrull Secret Invasion plan. The psychological conditioning malfunctioned, causing him to genuinely adopt the Mar-Vell identity and fight Skrulls instead of help them. Wielding Skrull-manufactured Nega-Bands, he had superhuman strength, flight, and energy projection. Ultimately mortally wounded, he chose to defend Earth and inspired others before his death.
