John Howlett Jr.

John Howlett Jr. was James Howlett's brother, the son of Elizabeth Howlett and Tom Logan, who (in the mainstream Marvel universe died when James was a baby) survived to adulthood on Earth-4011. After injuring his mother when his bone claws popped for the first time, John was taken away and experimented on as the first subject of Weapon X ("X"). He was able to escape the facility once he developed the ability to become intangible. This ability became part of the myth surrounding John's movements in Japan, which earned him the moniker "The White Ghost." John was also known in Japan as Kitsunebi, the leader of the Kanaguri cult.
