Richard Henry Benson was a globe-trotting adventurer who decided to settle down and raise a family. His plans for a peaceful life as a world-renowned industrial engineer were shattered when his wife Alicia and young daughter Alice were killed by criminals during an airplane trip from Buffalo to Canada. The shock of these events had a bizarre effect on Benson. His skin and hair turned white, and his facial skin became malleable. Benson vowed to avenge himself on the killers, and to fight for all those who have suffered at the hands of criminals.
