Rags Morales

Rags Morales is an American comic book artist. Morales' first professional work was [Forgotten Realms Comic Book](app://series/3790). Following that, Morales co-created with [Brian Augustyn](app://creator/1629) and pencilled [Black Condor](app://series/4385). Morales left DC to do work for Valiant, including [Turok, Dinosaur Hunter](app://series/4760), [Geomancer](app://series/5062) and covers. In 1999, Morales was made the penciler on DC's [Hourman](app://series/6158). Later he moved onto [Hawkman](app://series/10188) with writer [Geoff Johns](app://creator/4738). It was also on Hawkman that he first worked with inker [Michael Bair](app://creator/9224), with whom he has worked on most of his projects since. After Hawkman, Morales illustrated Brad Meltzer's limited series [Identity Crisis](app://series/11337). Morales and Bair worked on [Nightwing](app://series/5516) during Peter Tomasi's run as writer on that title. In June 2011, as part of DC Comics' massive relaunch of their entire superhero line, Morales became the artist on the new [Action Comics](app://series/59922) teaming with writer [Grant Morrison](app://creator/5083). Most recently, he worked on [Order & Outrage](app://series/198052) with [Jim Starlin](app://creator/6581).
