June Shoesmith

In 1947, Shoesmith won a Daily Telegraph competition with a drawing predicting the design of Princess Elizabeth's wedding gown. In 1950 she created the newspaper strip 'Holly' for Sydney's Press Feature Service. It ran weekly in the Sunday Telegraph in 1950-51. Further episodes were published in The Co-Ed Comic
