Painter, cartoonist, designer and animator known for his work for Fantagraphics and Starhead Comix in the nineties. His solo titles include Bad Comics, Bummer, Damnation!, J. R. Williams' Fun House, Completely Bad Boys and Crap. He also appeared in anthologies like Rip Off Press Comix, Buzzard, Honk!, Real Stuff, Centrifugal Bumble-Puppy, Splat! and Weirdo. Not to be confused with James Robert Williams, the newspaper cartoonist from the first-half of the 20th century.
