Esad Ribić

Esad Ribić is a Croatian comic book artist and animator. Ribić started making comics in the early 90s, doing shorts strips and illustrations for the Croatian Plavi magazine (Vjesnik) and German [Gespenster Geschichten](app://series/31790). Ribić also worked for Zagreb Film as a film animator on such series as The Little Flying Bears and Lapitch the Little Shoemaker. In 1996 he started work for Antarctic Press with [Code Name: Scorpio #1 (October 1996)](app://issue/742971). Later for DC [Four Horsemen](app://series/6260), the same year he started working for Marvel, where he was mainly working on [covers](https://www.comics.org/creator/21130/covers/). Ribić did interior work for the miniseries [Loki](app://series/11954), drew writer Jonathan Hickman's run on [Ultimates](app://series/60917), and started with writer Jason Aaron the series [Thor: God of Thunder](app://series/69871), his longest run of interior work so far. He drew the [Secret Wars](app://series/88997) limited series with writer Jonathan Hickman. With Ivan Brandon he co-created [Vs](app://series/121176). His 10-issue run on the series [Eternals](app://series/168396) was written by Kieron Gillen. His most recent interior work is [Aliens vs. Avengers](app://series/214851).
