E' stato un fumettista e illustratore italiano attivo dal secondo dopoguerra, noto per la sua versatilità e per l’ampia produzione di fumetti popolari e d’avventura. Esordì nel 1948 collaborando con gli editori Agostino Della Casa e Giuseppe Caregaro, e nel 1950 si unì al gruppo EsseGesse come disegnatore della serie Kinowa. Per Edizioni Audace realizzò Zà La Mort (1953), su testi di Gian Luigi Bonelli, e nel 1956 una versione di Pecos Bill con Cesare Solini. Negli anni seguenti collaborò con Editoriale Dardo (Timbergek, Ray Fox, Dick Cheyenne, Stormy Red) e con il cugino Francesco Gamba lavorò a Il Piccolo Ranger di Andrea Lavezzolo. Disegnò inoltre Billy Red, Zembla e Hondo per l’editore francese Lug. Durante la lunga carriera contribuì con storie e illustrazioni a numerose riviste e collane popolari — tra cui Intrepido, Albi dell’Intrepido, Il Monello, Zakimort, Coyote, Diabolik — e nel 2006 tornò al fumetto con Il segreto della montagna per la serie Mark (IF Edizioni). He began his career in 1948 with publishers Agostino Della Casa and Giuseppe Caregaro, and in 1950 joined the EsseGesse group as the artist of Kinowa.
