Raule attended comic art classes at Escola Joso. He won the comics competition in Bellvitge, the city he grew up in. As a writer, he collaborated with Roger (Roger Ibáñez Ugano), to publish Hole'n'Virgin, Amores muertos and Cabos sueltos at Amaníaco before releasing the Jazz Maynard series with Dargaud.
