Swedish translator and author. As a translator from the French-speaking area, he worked on "Gaston", "Spirou & Fantasio", "Marsupilami", "Gil Jourdan" (translated as "Max Jordan"), "Al Crane", "Corto Maltese", "Buddy Longway", "Blueberry" and "Les Tuniques Bleues" (translated as "Blårockarna"). From English, he translated "Johnny Hazard" and "The Phantom". Stellan Nehlmark was co-editor, together with Sture Hegerfors, of the comics analysis anthology book "Seriöst om serier"; and a member of the Swedish Academy of Comic Art from its founding in 1965.
