Danijel Žeželj

Danijel Žeželj studied classical painting, sculpting and printing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia (Akademija likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu). Since 1986, his comics have appeared in various magazines and anthologies in former Yugoslavia, Croatia, England, Switzerland, France, Italy and the USA. He has authored thirteen graphic novels and short comic collections. In 1995 Žeželj moved to Seattle, where he began working for The New York Times Book Review and DC. He has illustrated various short stories for DC/Vertigo, and his work has appeared in the anthologies Weird War Tales, Gangland, Heart Throbs, Strange Adventures and Flinch. His illustrations are published in The New York Times Book Review, The San Francisco Bay Guardian, The Stranger and The Washington Chronicle.
