Jake Geller

Jake Geller was the owner of the wholesaler, the Windsor News Company (Windsor, Ontario, Canada) and founded the American version of Comic Cuts (H L Baker, 1934 series), the second continuously published comic book in the United States after The Funnies (Dell, 1929 series) and Famous Funnies (Eastern Color, 1934 series). Geller also admitted later in life that when he ran Comic Cuts, he too turned down Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster's Superman submission.
