Joseph Franz von Göz

Göz was a lawyer, painter, draughtsman, printmaker and etcher who was writing and illustrating circa 1783. He was behind what is considered by some as the first graphic novel, a work based on Gottfried August Bürger's ballad "Lenardo und Blandine".
