Ptoma

Following a childhood shared between Franquin, Miller and Moëbius, Ptoma spent, after a short university stay in Biology, his graduate degree in Comics at Saint-Luc Brussels. When he left, he launched the Hécatombes collective with a few acolytes, which allowed him to confront the world of publishing for several issues. He will sign his first contract with Hachette, as a full-fledged author, just before the second millennium. This will be the start of his “dark line” period. He will then have the opportunity to adapt Mickey Spillane and James Ellroy. Curious, he also produced some storyboards for advertising and cinema before returning to his first love: comics. His interest in the “black” universe is confirmed by the writing of Big K. He will participate in the creation of the editorial structures Vanille Goudron and Coyote Noir in which he directs several fanzines.
